Welcome to AIR³ TDD Cup
The AIR³ TDD Cup was born from a simple idea, originally conceived by David Snowden (Australia): create a competition format that removes speed as the deciding factor. In traditional paragliding competitions, the fastest pilot usually wins — leaving many talented pilots frustrated despite flying beautiful, technically demanding flights.
In TDD, reaching the goal matters more than how fast you get there. Turnpoints can be flown in any order, rewarding smart route choices and reading the conditions — not just raw speed. Every pilot who completes the task gets the full satisfaction of a goal flight, regardless of their level.
Beyond the competition itself, this platform is also a complete toolset for any pilot — paragliding, hang gliding or glider — to plan a flight, build a route with waypoints, visualise airspace, analyse an IGC track and check competition scoring. Whether you're flying free, training, or competing, the tools are here for you.
The goal is not to be the fastest. The goal is to fly well.
